The JBL L82 Classic MKII is a bookshelf loudspeaker that features a retro design with a blue Quadrex foam grille and a walnut veneer cabinet. It has an 8-inch (200mm) cast-frame woofer with a Pure Pulp white cone and a 1-inch (25mm) titanium dome tweeter with an acoustic lens and waveguide. It also has a bi-wire/bi-amp crossover network with dual sets of gold-plated binding posts and a high-frequency level attenuator. The speaker has a frequency response of 44Hz to 40kHz (-6dB) and a sensitivity of 88dB (2.83V/1m). It can handle up to 150W RMS of amplifier power and has an impedance of 8 ohms. The speaker is sold in mirror-imaged stereo pairs and can be paired with the JS-80 speaker stand (sold separately) for optimal performance. The JBL L82 Classic MKII is a modern update of the legendary JBL L100 loudspeaker, which was introduced in 1970 and became one of the best-selling speakers of all time.
