This unit is ideal for extreme venting of cabinets and enclosures, for very aggressive spot cooling, and for low to mid level venting of closets and rooms. The new design greatly simplifies installation and aesthetic appeal since it now mates with sleek insert and never flush grills. It features two large, top-quality magnetic bearing fans for higher airflow, low noise and long life. Traditional ball bearing fans get louder as time goes on while magnetic bearing fans remain silent throughout the lifecycle. The fan unit can be configured to pull air out of a cabinet (the default & recommended configuration) or push air into the cabinet depending on the application. The new design also makes it perfect for very aggressive spot cooling. The fans are mounted using a special silicone vibration dampening system which eliminates noise caused by fan vibration and also facilitates easily changing the direction of the airflow. The unit is powered with DC voltage and when used with our Universal Power Supplies, can be run silently or more aggressively depending on the application.

Installation (for venting applications): One of the best features of the unit is it's ease of installation. Instead of having to cut a rectangular opening risking damage and inaccurate cuts using a jig saw, simply drill a 4" hole using a round hole saw for the grill. The fan unit is installed from the inside and is simply mounted over the hole. The screwless grill simply presses into the hole for a super sleek look.
Purchasing Options - This unit can be purchased by itself or in packages which include the fan unit, grill, and power supply. The available grill color options are Black, White, Almond, Gray and Brown. Wood grills options are also available. The unit is also available in various packages as well. While we are now promoting the screw-less and lower profile inset round grills, the unit can also be used with our traditional surface mount grills. Also available are duct boxes for remote venting options.
Harsh Environment Option - This unit is also available with a fan engineered with an industry leading IP68 rating for harsh environments which is ideal for outside, wet, humid or especially dirty and dusty areas. The units are also effective in high altitudes and in extreme temperatures. It should be noted that harsh environment does not mean better quality or longevity, just enhanced engineering and production to protect against these environmental situations. In practical terms this means that unless truly require the added protection, there is no reason to purchase harsh environment fans.
High Velocity Option - This unit by design is intended to be both effective and quiet at the same time. This balance is critical in residential applications, in board rooms, lecterns and various other applications but often times and especially in the commercial and industrial environments noise is not as much of a concern as airflow. For this reason we offer with unit with a High Velocity fan which moves considerably more air.
