Cool Components Rack Side Cooling Unit (2 Fan)

Fan Kit for Use with Cool Racks (40RU only) and Cool Shelves

This is a kit to add additional cooling to the tall Cool Rack and the Cool Shelves.  This includes a 2-Fan Assembly and mounting hardware for the fans. 

When ordering, ensure to order additional accessories such as power supply and/or cables.  These assemblies can be powered with existing assemblies or powered and controlled separately based on system requirements.  Typically on the shelves all of the fans would be powered with one power supply while on the racks there are various options and situations.

This kit can also be used as replacement fans for the 2 Fan Rack Side Cooler (RK-SC-2FN).

Equipment Conditions

• Operating Temperature:≤ 29◦C

• Fresh Air Inlet to Rack/Cabinet: 24◦C

Note A; 99.6% of all power (electricity) going into a rack is converted to heat

Note B; for approximately every 5◦C above 29◦C, reliability of equipment drops 50%
