This is a kit to add additional cooling to the Cool Racks. This includes a 4-Fan Assembly and mounting hardware for the fans.
When ordering, ensure to order additional accessories such as power supply and/or cables. These assemblies can be powered with existing assemblies or powered and controlled separately based on system requirements. When configuring the cooling systems, consider which components will generate always heat (cable and satellite receivers and DVRs) and other components that will only generate heat when in use. Also consider how air will flow in the rack. While most components may be off, heat can still collect in the top of the rack from those 'always on' components.
This kit can also be used as replacement fans for the 3RU Cool Shelf (RK-CS-3) and the 4 Fan Rack Side Cooler (RK-SC-4FN).
